Under the guidance of two licensed professional civil engineers, you will be involved in all stages of project development, from initial planning to final implementation. Conduct feasibility and initial job research on land use regulations and zoning ordinances to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Manage permitting for Raze/Demolition, Land Disturbance and Stormwater Management Plans.
Communicate via email and phone calls with clients and plan reviewers.
Process photogrammetry and LiDAR data.
Process topographic survey data in AutoCAD into plan deliverables.
Revise conceptual engineering drawings in AutoCAD.
Prepare DDOT Traffic Control Plans and DOEE Erosion & Sediment Control Plans.
Support senior engineers in project coordination and scheduling.
General support of the design team in all aspects of a given project.
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microsoft Office is preferred.

Collect high accuracy survey data for use in civil engineering designs.
Assist Party Chief Surveyor in collecting boundary and topographic data.
Setup backsight and foresight traverses with tripods and prisms.
Setup GNSS Base Stations with 2-hr static logging.
Prepare a hand drawn house sketch with detailed feature measurements using tape measure and laser distance meter.
Measure utility inverts with laser distance meter & take field notes.
Collect 15 minute SLAM LiDAR Scans.
Spend 1-2 days a week in the office to help process survey data, respond to client emails, and coordinate survey schedules.
Bachelor of Science in a DPOR Board-approved 4-year survey or survey-related curriculum preferred. In lieu of a 4-year degree, additional field experience and/or a 2-year survey curriculum may be necessary.
